Where is via infinito in ffx 2

Paragon is another good one to exploit his counter attack. Mostly because they use weaker attacks more often, or their new AI scripts are stupid. Elder Drake, as Kakuzatou mentioned, will repeatedly attack mages if you have any in the party, so give them a Rabite's Foot or two and they'll dodge forever. Not that this is much of a loss from its original AI which was attacking endlessly unless you cast magic against it.

Mega Tonberry goes from constantly using its deadly Chef's Knife to using it about half the time in oversoul. The other half is used casting Firaga or Flare which is far weaker and can be reflected. Black Elemental casts a lot of -ga elemental spells in oversoul.

Reflectable and even absorbable. He also no longer absorbs MP so you could take all of it, rendering him helpless. Concherer no longer uses Megaton Press. An insanely strong attack that never misses and he just outright forgets it in oversoul. Instead he thinks it wiser to cast reflectable magic and using really weak status-inflicting attacks that can easily be nullified with Ribbons.

Chac is a joke. She loses her uberpowerful Heaven's Cataract. Also, she sometimes wastes turns using Hunter's Gaze which does exactly nothing. Paragon goes from a deadly tango of strong physical attacks and Genesis to just countering anything you do right back. He does still have his strong moves, but only uses it if it can't counter your attacks, and he won't use them at all as long as you're in Reflect.

He still endlessly Dispels you if you keep putting up Reflect, though. I don't know who was in charge of making the oversouled versions of the Via Infinito bosses, but I really want to know what the hell they were thinking.

Should say abusable but IDC. Im having a rough morning Learning something new everyday. More topics from this board Yojimbo Strategy? Build 3 Answers Maximum stats? On the far right side of Cloister 0 is a hidden path to a pillar. Jumping on it transports the player from Great Cloister to Great Cloister.

This is useful for battling fiends one missed oversouling and if one accidentally went back to Cloister 0. The first bloc is the easiest and can be completed in under 30 minutes. There are Elder Drakes jumping back and forth, but the player can get past them without a fight. The roar and jumping noises indicate there being one nearby.

The boss at Cloister 20 is Aranea. He has slightly above 18, HP and can inflict Stop with normal attacks. He is similar in appearance to Boris from the Floating Ruins on Mt.

Gagazet and was once Maester Wen Kinoc. This bloc of cloisters has three new level designs. The level design with the Elder Drake may have two.

There is also another room with an Elder Drake in a pit in the middle of the path. This particular cloister has a path going left and right; the player should take the left path and hit the switch to activate stepping stones. Its Ultima attack is usually lethal. Cat Nip has the ability SOS???? The dungeon becomes harder from here on. The level designs are different, but a few stay the same.

Mega Tonberries appear rarely. There will be one Elder Drake jumping front to back to the side, and one at the end off a ledge that is hard to see unless one stops at the edge and drops down. Jumping the ledge triggers a battle; to avoid it the player must drop down and run to the side. Tonberries appear alongside tiny Tonberries; if the player finds a cloister that starts on a ledge and at the edge there are three more ledges in intersections and one in the middle, following the path of that cloister to a Tonberry near the exit has a smaller Tonberry next to it.

Talking to the little Tonberry nets an item. The boss in Cloister 60 is Concherer who has nearly , HP, high stats across the board, and can inflict heavy damage. He was once Grand Maester Yo Mika.

When defeated, he can be captured and used as a very powerful ally. This bloc has many Mega Tonberries, but none are mandatory. To get past the Mega Tonberries without a fight, the player must run to the side through the gap. The cloister with a long bridge has a Mega Tonberry at its closed end. After defeating or waiting for it to walk away, the player must jump down the bridge and make a left, go down and press to get on another platform. After a semi-circular path, there are three separate alcoves with Tonberries.

The exit is in the middle one, but it is blocked by a Mega Tonberry. Instead of fighting it, the player can fight ordinary Tonberries in the other alcoves to make the Mega Tonberry disappear. On some levels, there is a Mega Tonberry waiting on the left intersection, so player should slow down in these parts. Elder Drakes There are two main areas where you have to be concerned about the Elder Drakes.

In one of the floor layouts, you'll see an Elder Drake ramming its head up against the wall. To avoid fighting it, just walk past between the times when it comes into the hallway. On the other floor, there will be an Elder Drake waiting for you in a pit, with seemingly no way to get around it.

With this layout, just go back to the intersection you started out at and go left. The path will lead you to a floor switch. Step on it and a couple of stepping-stones will appear, enabling you to avoid the pit. Mega-Tonberrys There are three areas where you have to watch out for this bad boy. On one floor layout, a Mega-Tonberry will be waiting for you in a pit. To get around him, walk south from the starting point and fall to a lower level.

Follow the path, defeat the regular-sized Tonberry and take the lift back to the upper level. From there, go south, climb the wall into the pit and step on the floor switch on the left, behind the Mega-Tonberry.

The way to the next floor will be revealed.
