Where to find camel figurines

Is there any specific kind of place to look for it? Or just.. My assumption is that it will spawn near camels and next to an object like a rock, tree, building or in this case, a big pile of bones. Here is a pic of me next to it just South West of Orsis. Screenshot You can also tell from my collection of rare mounts on the side that this elusive Grey Camel is going to be added to my side bar very shortly. Comment by Lidmo Anyone got a respawn timer on this thing?

It's like a TLPD, only it doesn't move and has a lower chance of dropping mount which doesn't fly but has humps. Comment by Danaan I have found three so far, one near Ramkahen, one near the Obelisk of the moon and one near Akhenet. All of them gave me gray dirt. Either it's bad luck or there can only be one statue active at a time. I've never found more than one statue in one round.

There is no camel level. Comment by Imatree Three different Camels. Let's count them One Camel Two Camels Three Camels! Wowhead's database already has 5 drops off of Dormus, and this is the best source we know of finding him, and many people have already confirmed it comes from this. Yes, the other two obviously come from Ramkahen. Would it be quicker getting Ramkahen rep and just buying a camel? Yeah, sure. But this one is gray.

Is your camel gray? I didn't think so. Comment by rigorad I have a theory on where these things spawn. I went to all of the places where people took screenshots of finding it. At all of them I found a group of three critters, either the lizards, spiders, or scorpions near where the camel was. If anyone who finds a camel go back to where it was to verify this. I know this sounds like a pretty stupid idea, but quite frankly so is attacking camels to be teleported to the Steam Pools to kill a giant two headed guy that hoards one humped camels.

Comment by I have in fact found evidence to back up the posted theory about the sets of three critters. What I found by checking the spots where I did discover camels is that there were critters there with no statue before I found any, and there weren't critters present when I did.

Could be coincidence with somebody killing critters for their guild armadillo pet, but that'd be a decent sized coincidence. My theory- Anywhere where a pack of 3 critters spawns is a possible spawn for a figurine. This is conjecture, but still possible by my experience. It has taken me about hours roughly to find my first one, These are very small a little bit bigger than the critters you see running around I've just took a SS and adding it to the wowhead screenshots for this camel now.

Spawn i haven't figured out yet, i've just done a complete sweep of the zone exactly 3hrs after i picked up a figurine and there wasn't another. Obviously the lens doesn't work if you're flying over, but I've been hoping to land and then just focus on the target myself. Comment by Ryuji2 If the critter theory is correct, I went and wrote down all the spots I found of packs of critters.

Here is a map showing the locations I found. Some are on the surface however. There are also a few that are on the edges of Uldum but the coordinates are according to AQ. They are: 66,78 69,78 76,52 There are probably a lot I missed but a lot that I found were also known locations of figurines so this theory may have some weight.

Hope this helps! Comment by Saidin Just found one after 30 minutes of looking. I'm sure that's just luck, and not something to expect. It was in Orsis at 40, It was under an Eagle statue. There were no critters in the immediate area of the figurine, but there were two maybe 30 yards away. This leads me to believe the critter hypothesis is inaccurate, at best. More than likely, the critters being near is just coincidence. Comment by Skotty I found a Mysterious Camel Figurine earlier today at the spot marked on the map in the northern entrance to Neferset City.

It was right in the middle of the stable of camels. I was just questing when I saw my NPC scan light up and I rushed over to it, clicked it, and then got teleported to the boss. I understand that I was extremely lucky and there are people that have found multiple figurines and only received dust. In general, I'm extremely unlucky with this type of thing so I guess it was bound to happen sometime!

Comment by Ummeiko I got one of these today while I was circling around from a tol'vir dig. The NPC number that went off for me is , although most people are reporting It could be that one is the "dud" and one is the "will port you" ID. Here is my NPC scan list , so you can see it was actually , not that got cached The boss himself is elite, with about k hp. I have to admit, I forget what level he was. He does a basic melee "camel smash" attack about every seconds, for about 1.

Plus a ground AOE "camel spit" type thing that does nature damage, so move out of it. Psychic scream and psychic horror had no affect on him, so I don't know how well other abilities like stuns, snares, and roots will work. Be careful with any aoes, I accidentally hit a nearby camel when I first tried psychic scream, and adding one into the battle didn't make it impossible, but it is a hassle.

Lastly, when you get up there, you get a 20 minute debuff called "Dormus Rage", which states that he will flee when the time is up, and indeed, all the camels despawned when the time ran out.

So that's your kill time I guess. It really shouldn't take that long. I don't know where you end up if you die to him though. Comment by beastly found one in the schnottz landing, at Comment by Avigo12 It would be great to know if it has a certain spawn time or if it just spawns one at a time in a certain place then when used , respawns at another location Comment by Kubankhaos So we can find out if there is a patteren to the camel respawns.

Please reply to this post if you have seen a second statue. Post the date of the first finding if possible and the date of the second finding.

Posting this information will give us evidence to try and figure out if there is a pattern. Every little bit of information helps about the location if you dont have a picture to post. It seems the is the fake one with dust. NPCScan after the kill showed cached but still uncached. Comment by I just found one of these around pm by a rock just north of Sullah's Sideshow. My NPC Scan went off and cached After reading the comments here I sighed and set myself up for disappointment as people are saying is the port camel.

I was not wrong, and indeed received dust. The moral of the story: Loot then check, or you might make yourself sad before you even take the chance :p. Northern part, near the three small buildings. However, it still showed up as Mysterious Camel Figurine on the pop-up alert. The only way to know you found the rare one, would be to only list that one in NPCscan, and lose out on being alerted to the common figurine.

Something I don't think I'll try just yet, maybe when there's a general consensus to the respawn time. Comment by Sunny88 so, I've been flying around uldum a fair couple of times for the past 3 days, and I haven't seen a single camel figurine yet. I'm flying everywhere near constructions, buildings, carts, quest areas etc. Comment by mgerg I've been on the hunt for this figurine for a while now Around 3 days - 4 hours - Basically any chance I get that I am free i'd clear my cache before I log in, switch gears and just ride around Uldum fully, every nook and cranny.

I have not found one single figurine but i've noticed a few things like the other posters What i've done is copied the ID into the box, select the region and then entered the name with a capital at each of the words. From there on all i've been doing is literally flying around but pressing a macro to target one as well, in case i have configured the addon wrong. Comment by Kubankhaos Just found it again and right before I clicked on it i crossed my fingers hoping that it wasnt When I looked at my NPCscan.

Dust again for the second time. This time its a new spot I have not herd anyone found before but it sure is close to some. It was in Neferset City at the Entrance. Here is a picture of the spot that I found it at. Screenshot Fail again after a full week of finding it. My first one found was the One full week ago. So if this thing has a spawn timer.

Its going to be close to a week. Comment by Imatree I've got a theory about these Figurines. It makes sense that is the "Real" figurine, or at least the one that gives you the mount, since we've had a few people confirm that after getting the mount, only the entry was cached. However, I think it is safe to assume that only 1 figurine can be up at a time per zone. Don't know the spawn timer, and don't have enough information to take a guess at it, but I would assume its a more extreme version of the "Netherwing Eggs" or "Everfrost Shards" for the Hodir and Netherwing reputations.

Each one has a certain "downtime" and only 1 can spawn per zone at a time. The tricky part is telling the spawn timer. Since these things can spawn at almost any point in the zone, almost anyone can find it first. This makes it hard to gather accurate information, unless we get everyone to contribute Comment by So I've spent something on the order of a week farting around in this zone with every quest done, NPCScan running both ID's and spamming a targeting macro several times a second with zilcho results.

Spent about a day looking for it but got very lucky early morning around A. There was a Chinese gold farmer completely ignoring it and killing elementals. It spawned in Orsis, near some golden eagle looking statues in a corner. I can confirm that is the "real" event camel.

Comment by If anyone is interested here are the co-ordinates for the current locations of the Figurines that wowhead has for the tom tom addon. You simply type them into your text box one at a time or you can make a macro and put in a couple at a time. I will update the co-ordinates as more come in. I won't add any co-ords for anymore in ruins of ammon because there are already 5 of them.

Say if there is a new one in the middle of no where I will add the co-ords. Comment by TraumaXKarry Also, if no one's posted it yet, it's said that it's a 24 hour respawn timer. Comment by Yaran Been looking for these on and off for the better part of a week now. Finally found one today at 40,43 southeastern corner of Orsis, already marked on the map above. Turned to dust, NPCscan cached only Will update with time and whatnot whenever I find more.

Have completed every quest in the zone, fully phased, btw. Comment by Found my first camel figurine at the grave yard south of the temple of uldum The second camel I found after reading on this forum about a camel being found of the coast of the ruins of ammon.

I flew straight there and sure enough there was a camel. The first camel I found took me to the oasis and also gained the buff that said I had 20min to stay there. Unfortunelty I accidently aggroed all the camels and died The camel I found off the coast turned to dust. Which brings me to the point I want to address. Since there are two camel figurines, rather then seeing a map of where all camels have been found I would like to see spots where camels that didnt turn to dust have been found.

Personally, I liked the 3 critter group idea, as there is group that returns to the exact spot where I found the first, real camel. Additonally, as far as I can tell from reading these posts, every spot where a real camel figurine has been found also has a group of 3 critters that mark the spot. However, as far as I can tell there is not a group at the spot I found the second camel So again I would really like to see a map just showing where people have found the real camel.

Perhaps the two versions have different spawn locations? Comment by Bigman Using Glasswindows TomTom waypoints, I Input them into the game, flew around for about 10 hours straight with no spawns.

I then remembered about people saying there were spawns of 3 critters around the "spawnpoints" of the camel figurines. I then started to kill every critter I could see around the spawn points. Then, not even 1 full round around Uldum Comment by Yaran Actually the camels do have a slight "click me! If you aren't using or can't get an addon to do so, put a raid target marker on it as soon as you have it targeted to help you find it. Comment by Evellia Came across one of these today while fishing from the Fathom Eel schools.

It was at 33,72 south west, right below the Ruins of Ammon on a square of land out in the water. It did set off my npcscan. Received Crumbled Statue Remnants. Comment by I found one today at approx.

It was between Obelisk of the Stars and Khartut's Tomb. Logged off to clear cache and couldn't get back in due to some sort of issue. In any event, I am hoping to post exact coordinates when I get back on. It did turn to dust--but I sure was excited to find the figurine! I haven't spent a whole lot searching but do have NPC scan which seems to be the best route to take to find this bugger.

Good luck, everyone! Comment by janinetjies Just found mine to the east of the Ruins of Ammon, was lucky enough to be xported and get my camel mount! Comment by Kanegasi Just in case you didn't notice, almost every companion pet and some critters have 42 health. EDIT: Note to downvoters, this used to be a reply to someone thinking the 42 health was some sign or homage to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy unique only to these figurines. This reply was to correct that post by pointing out many more things having 42 health.

Since the comment overhauls, pointing out that this comment was made with the old comment system, someone has made this post standalone rather than a small reply. Comment by Would like to confirm that the respawn rate for the figurine is 24hrs.

Both turned to dust Comment by Jindujun I have so far found these things with a minimum of 24 hours between them. Might be a coincident or they have a spawntime somewhere around 24h. The odd thing is I've found three out of the four in the exact same spawn. Still havent seen two up at the same time so that might be an impossibility.

Comment by Yoppskie I made a video to show the optimal route that I take. Thanks and goodluck :D. Comment by Hey, i see some people say that u have to finish all the quests in uldum, how come? Comment by I have been on this for good 5 days now around 30 hours playtime in total. So for i have found 3 dust figurines in the following locations : Akhenet Fields : 1. My first edit: After i found the 3rd one i searched for a new one for 10 hours straight with no luck.

Had a 5 hours sleep and i have been looking for one for atleast 2 hours now. Still nothing. This was at pm on Aerie Peak US. Comment by Got teleported to the camel guy on my first figurine to the east near the Pirate ships. Was the teleport one. Comment by alanpower just find one at Comment by wizardcho Here i find figurene with id screenshot with id in npcsca , then i was teleoported to kill Dormus the Camel Hoarderscreen screenshot before start combat and last screenshot with me and mount.

Comment by zlacker Does anyone know if they can be underground? Comment by can anybody who has the mount tell us if you were mounted when you clicked on the figurine that took you away? The 2 i found today happened the same way, i go to them, click them, get error message stating i must be closer. At this point the model has changed to dust. Then i move right on top of it, and it when i click it now, it explodes.

Basically i wanna know if i fail to click it right the first time do i bug it out and explode it, or will it not matter because i would have found the right camel to begin with? Comment by Tippereth Got a hit of , another confirm for the it being the real camel theory. Location was just north of the Halls of Origination at 72, Comment by R4ndomizer Found my 4 statuette at AM today Whenever one of them was going to spawn they would randomly pick one of the 2.

Comment by bloodvalor Just got the camel mount from this item. The figurine was located at The elite boss was easily soloable. Just make sure you keep moving around as he drops his water bombs and camels on you : Good luck to all those after this rare mount! It probably doesn't matter but some people might want to know. Comment by I found mine in the middle of Orsis, just like on the map above.

I have been flying around off and on for days looking for a figurine, and the first one that I found happened to be the right one that dropped the mount. Boss was very easy for me as a protection Paladin. I can confirm that the item ID was also It was a version and was dust. Comment by omglolboom First time I found one, Loaded it in Npcscan yesterday and did 2 run with no luck. Easy kill, easy mount! Comment by chip Just had one turn to dust on me.

Loc: 22, 64 in Schnottz's Landing. Comment by So, Ive been looking for the past week or so for this mount. Been farming about hours a day, sometimes more depending on how angry its making me. I have only found two, both were 10 and turned to dust. Both of them do NOT have 3 critters near them, at any point in the day. So while 09 might, 10 definately does not. I would say critter theory is wrong. Comment by Soeplepel Well, i found one yesterday Comment by So I have been farming this for most of a week, and was beginning to doubt npcscan was functioning or if they even exist.

Until around 7. I dismounted and clicked, and the whirlwind started up. This was obviously quite a buzz, I moved in on the mob and sent in my voidy, had him down to well less than half health when a camel started on me too. Anyway I died, pretty gutted and not looking forward to another week of farming, but at around 9. Same again, but I was ready this time, it was still tight and I died about 15 seconds after I had looted, any spells with long cast times will hamper you as you will have to move, interrupting and cast again or take some damage standing in spit.

Also, second time I avoided the camels completely. Good luck hunting guys. Comment by I located at It was not pinned to map. Comment by lebst Located three so far all locations that are already on the wowhead map.

Not a very long spawn timer but does and share spawn timers or are they separate? Comment by fatherbrown I just found my first figurine. Use the macro listed below Eventually you will find one. I searched for it while i farmed ore. My first figurine actually got me to the boss and the mount. The picture above of the little camel is exactly what it looks like. I spent about 45 minutes until i found the first one.

Comment by One question about tracking them. Is there only 3 Mysterious Camel Figurine? Comment by Chromededome So, after 12 days of trying, I finally found a mysterious camel figurine. It was 10, which did in fact turn to dust.

The spawn location was right near where Armagedillo spawns, NW of Akhenet fields Attached photo of my very sad dust Comment by Viveen I found my first one through an addon when it came up with it initially I had no idea what it was!

I was hoping to find it through my tracking as a hunter but came up short. When I searched it for wowhead and found out it was a tiny little thing I was tempted to give up seeings it was like looking for a needle in a hay stack! I eventually found it with one of the previously mentioned macros on a little sand hill near Orsis. Comment by on the pictures of the figurine i saw that one was grey and on was tan colour.

Comment by dogvetusa Npc scan popped up with this item while farming ore on my 76 pally. I still wonder if one camel figurine number is for the one that ports you and the other is for the one that doesnt. Comment by Ziglidum I got a figurine in Agamaggan aroud 4h15m server time , after a few weeks farming it, just for a lap or 2 every day around the spots posted above.

It was the one that teleportes and the Elite NPC that drops the mount was a easy kill. I'm a 85 Survival Hunter and I my gear level is GL to all that are farming this mount and dont give up you will eventualy get it ;.

Comment by do u have to do quests in uldum to see these camel figurines? Comment by helmates I am of the perception that maybe this NPC is subject to the messy phasing problems of Uldum. I have never even found any of the figurines which crumble to dust. Have all of the finders completed the Uldum quest chains?

I have. On my peregrinations I have seen phasing problems around the High Priest of Neferset, for example landed my flying mount in just the right spot to suddenly see him and 2 players fighting him, for half a second. Also, ores phasing out when you land in front of them, and no other players around. Comment by i get my camil from 1st figurine They just are super-rare. Dont let us waste time in a phasing-discucssion. Comment by oneru Been hunting these for a while now, found seven so far: - One on a hill just south of Orsis - One in Schnotzz's Landing - One in the most northern part of Neferset.

All turned to dust so far. Has anyone ever seen two Camel Figurines in one run, or has any idea on the respawn time? I have seen Akma'hat up at the same time as a camel figurine, so I think the rare spawn creatures are not linked to the Mysterious Camel Figurine. Also, I just flew over Uldum right after server restart and did not find Figurine, so I do not think these 'always' spawn upon server restart which is the case for some rare spawns, but not for all.

Comment by R4ndomizer Found my 9 Statue this morning, Comment by R4ndomizer found my 10 statue just nearly 12,5 hours after the 9. So 24 hour respawntimer is not possible.

Comment by EllaRum23 Funny thing. I was just checking your guys's posts last night. I hadn't seen even one figurine yet. Then bam! It was unfortunately, so it turned to dust, but at least now I can say I found one. The coordinates were 50, Found it in the northern part of Neferset.

Comment by Just found one of these, my first one. I ended up getting the correct one and was tossed in a whirlwind and teleported to feralas, but instead of landing safely in the water i cratered on the bottom and the buff faded away. And now all the camels gone from the shore. I've put up a GM ticket because of me cratering on the bottom of the lake.

Got portet to that camelguy and he was easy defeated with my item-rouge. THAT one really had the ! All the others before had Now next mount Comment by Can anyone confirm finding one of these after doing all the quests and it turning "Oasis"?

Comment by Ok this pertains to anyone using NPCscan. If you found a figurine and it did not teleport you, there's no need to delete your cache. There are 2 models of this npc.

The model has no abilities. The model , however, has the sandstorm ability that teleports you to the boss. So if you have cached it doesn't matter. In fact it will guarantee that the next one npcscan picks up will teleport you. Comment by R4ndomizer Do and share their respawntimer? Comment by meowzsa Question! Do they dispawn like any other rares if they arent encountered? Me and some friends have been flying around for a couple of days now, and havent found any.. Comment by These things must have weird spawn timers.

I have been all over the map at the spots marked on Wowhead and still have not found one with NPCscan with my data cleared for about an hour. Comment by Found on Blackrock US at a. Comment by Just droped 10 mins ago and npcscan identified it as I have had 6 x and 2 x so based on other comments i assume has alot higher chance to drop the mount. Comment by I have a couple questions about npc scan some one was saying if you find a camel u have to reset it in some cached folder or with the scan menu or something, if so how is this done?

Or do u even want to reset it if u get dust? Comment by I was wondering, if you found the camel with nr , which according to most, just turns to dust, isn't it better to leave it cached? Also, while checking npcscan, I noticed that there also is an one.. Comment by Okay, So if I have completed all the quests in Uldum does that mean I cannot find them? Because I have not found any yet, And onl the little map on wowhead, it says you can change the phaing, and when I change it I cannot see the pins?

Comment by Druidren Okey. I have been flying around uldum for 4 ours now. Havent found 1 single Mysterious Camel Figurine. Do they have a respawn time? Or are they just random spawning? The npc scan alert was for Mysterious Camel Figurine. I guess i feel lucky since its the second figurine i found while getting herbs. The fight was pretty easy even for a discipline priest like me. Now im ready to ride along the sand storms :D. Comment by Found 2 figurines in a space of 12hours, to bad both were and not Has anyone ever found more then 1 figurine up at the same time?

Did anyone ever found ? Comment by Can anyone please explain how I use TomTom? When I add a waypoint to my world map it works fine, but when I add another one the first one gets removed. I just want all spawn spots to show on my world map all the time. How do I do this? Please help. Comment by Crashh Pardon me if I haven't done enough research, but I've looked a fair while and can't find an answer.

Is there a minimum respawn on these things or is it random? Thanks and good luck. Comment by just got a 3rd one it was 09 and it was the cyclone and teleported me to the camel holder spot , i actually got 2 09 and one 10 first 09 was dust. Comment by I'm curious as to whether people think these figurines only spawn when a player is in a certain proximity. Nearly half of the figurines I've looted 11 were found only minutes, sometimes seconds, after having woken up at random times.

They are indeed quite small. NPC Overlay actually found it for me. Comment by R4ndomizer Got my grey camel with my mainchar a few weeks ago. Was my 15 Statue and it had the id All others had Today, just a few minutes ago i went to uldum to go to a new tolvir-digsite and decided to fly a little loop around ruins of ammon to look if a statue is there.

Had my hunter in Uldum, too. And then NPC-Scan yelled. My I checked the id in npc-scan, and DAMN! It was ! My hunter got ported and it was a very easy fight with my lvlBM-hunter and his devilsaur. He only has quest-gear. Comment by I have been searching for literally 6 days now for a few hours each day, going back at different times and haven't even found so much as the "fake" figurine.

Am I doing something wrong? I see people finding numerous ones and I can't even find one. Any help at all is appreciated. It was, as others have remarked, very small and at first I had no idea what I was looking for or why. Eventually, I found it, clicked on it, and was teleported to the giant.

Being a L85 Hunter, he wasn't very hard to take down, although I did have to avoid the white globs -- which I think are from those camels he has in his fists. I believe he's squeezing them to make 'em spit. Had a few other folks showing off their exalted Ramkahen-status camels -- but only mine was gray. Dont have quards, but found my first camel ontop of the triad of buildings at Akhenet Fields. Was the building without a tent top. Now I have a wee bit of hope!

Didnt look at which ID it was, just swooped in to nab it, and bam, a whirlwind sucks me in! Level 85 afflic lock with starter heroic gear, if that Dormus was cake. Anyways, figurine appeared at the entrance to the docks on top of a crate or barrel. Overly lucky, as this was my second figurine discoverd, and in less than a 12 hour period. Best of luck to all out there! I know how cruddy it is to search for something for I have found both and they have both turned to dust, however, I am unsure if one or the other will provide a teleport or both.

I am intrigued by this theory and decided to do some testing. This is why. I found bug groups in locations where I thought figurines would be i. Now this brings up another possibility however, highly unlikely. The possibility that the bug groups are where the figurines have NOT spawned, and no bugs means it has spawned in that location.

However, this is a stretch of the imagination and I have no basis for that theory. It is simply a treasure hunt, and I've got "figurine fever"! I hate clicking macros all the time. Comment by drdiesel When was the last time someone found a Mysterious Camel Figurine?

I've been doing my mining routes in Uldum the last few days and spamming this macro. Not only have I not found one that gets me the mount but I haven't even found one that crumbles in my hands. I know they are rare but how rare are they, anyone know? Comment by AzerateAeriePeak Does anyone heard of any overlay addon with spawn sites marked for these? Been using the map notes for marking but it's a pain. Too bad npcscan doesnt have it Comment by I get the feeling the spawn time is closer to Just thought I'd share.

Happy Hunting! Comment by While not saying Critter theories are wrong or right, I just want to point out that even if the MCF isn't affected by phases going by comments , the three-spawn critter groups ARE. This is easily seen by the digsite areas around Schnottz Landing where I've seen a few critter spawns before but now that I've cleared the quest chain there the entire area is completely empty. Flying outside of the area can sometimes reveal critter groups which will phase out if you fly back to them as the area is phased differently.

The question really is if these spawns have any relevance at all and of course if they do, which of them are affected by which phases. Killing critter spawns if they take up MCF spawns in Schnottz Landing area is close to impossible without some tricky and annoying measures if you've done the quest chains for example.

Comment by Gameeommy Does anyone know of an add-on that will allow me to put the coordinates on the wowhead map onto my map in-game? It's getting annoying having to go back and forth between windows to check where the next place I should look. Comment by jrbecke I have 4 toons that are gatherers so they spend alot of time in Uldum. Hours a day. I have used NPC scan since it came out. Wasnt until 3 days ago that the camel figure set it off.

I cant figure out how I read that people are finding them several times a day? Is my server one of those that just doesnt have it? Or is it a matter of , if I didnt have bad luck, I wouldnt have any luck at all? Comment by I have read up on this and i may have a theory It seems that the figurines that teleport the "" for NPC scan you are in areas near the golden doors down the ramps. Idk if anyones noticed the ramps all around Uldum usually if you die they act as a graveyard but there are other golden doors that arent grave sites.

Ive found 4 figurines so far and the ones ive found were not near any of the ramps or golden doors. Correct me if im wrong but i havent seen any evidence to prove my theory wrong. Also if you are using NPC scan and a macro and youve found a "dud" the NPC scan wont pick up the dud you found but the macro still does and when it does it showed it as dust for me.

Goodluck all! Comment by Maidenna Found mine! Comment by Cuppiecake does this mysterious camel roam around at all or does it stay stationary?

Comment by Nastyiam I must agree with a comment I read, about people finding daily it is really hard to beleive, I spend 4 hours yesterday and on my 2nd hour today, and yet to find one. Comment by Yerbury I found mine at , just outside Sullah's Sideshow. Comment by Found 4 so far, all turned to dust. Will continue to try :. Comment by bladz01 Zero luck for me as well. Will have to try out Routes. Comment by So far, posts on this item, anyone figured out how rare the correct MCF is?

Also, if you have alts, drop them down in some spawnpoints aswell. Was amongst a camp of tents and level 84 mobs humanoid infantry Once clicked, it whisked me away to the Camel Hoarder. Comment by wopatoolie These are objects classified as NPCs though that are targetable throughout uldum. Once defeated, he'll drop. Comment by tuzz16 I've found 4 so far, in as many days.

Correct me if im wrong, but all 4 of them have been WHITE colored, and since some of the SS are brown camels aswell, this gives me reason to believe that the white ones are the fakes, and the browns are the good ones.

Happy hunting. Comment by how often do these figurines spawn? You will need the addon Routes. Quit the game and open the lua file and insert the array below in the correct spot.

This will create a route ingame that takes you past all known spawn locations and all 4 rare spaws in uldum. Comment by maelkor Perhaps as a mockery on inability to get delicious chocolate cake after a couple hundred cooking dailies, I got teleported on the first figurine.

Comment by Psynatron Im a little confused now But i havent found one yet after searhing for 3 hours How can this be? Comment by wowZhenek found fake figurine, in 1h friend found another one Comment by chiqq Tonight i looted my 17th. All been ID in npscan. But my guess ID has same procent spawnrate as timelost proto drake, or Aeonaxx. Thats why it makes it so rare. And yes. You can target the figurine. Image here. Now on my 22 camel figurine loot i finaly found the and got teleported to feralas and got the mount, easy kill.

Was gonna farm some digg spot from tolvir. Guess what? Found agian and now have 2 mounts. Comment by Just got this mount around schnottz landing right in from of the cabins. Dormus went down super quick. Holy spec ilvl priest, down with shadow spec. Yay my super cool mount. Comment by Ok, I've heard multiple times that Blizz is removing the mount from the game come the new patch, 4.

Can anyone comfirm this? It would really suck if they did! Good hunting! A special thanks to Liax for the array with coordinates. Comment by Just got mine 10 minutes ago on my 4th statue, and I was sooooo happy!

Call it luck or whatever but it was fun. Fight is a joke at 85 but fun and the mount is awesome as well. I got it at the statue posted where you finish the Indiana Jones style quests. The NPC scan number was while the others were all Ill post a picture soon! Comment by fizzfizz people keep persisting in spreading info that only one rare per zone can be up at once, but this is false! Comment by gorrka so.. I have NPC scan and overlay.

But not even a single dust camel yet.. Comment by wowZhenek 12th figurine, gold Comment by Darkted Found the 9th today. Needless to say all have turned out to be dust. Starting getting dissappointed. Comment by I think this is the most diabolique invention in the game, finding a rare pet was hard enough for us hunters as it was and still is, and there were mostly only us hunters who were looking for those, but this insane figurine is a rare for ALL the players in the game, and that's what I think is insane.

The spawning rate should be significally enhanced taking into consideration the number of players who are after the thing which are able to use regardless, but this Also, after all this madness with the grey camel, I have yet to see one actually being used as a mount, except for the few seconds some are using one in instances. The thrill of the hunt may be big, but the dissapointment equally hehehe:. Comment by Firstly I would like to thank all those who have contributed to this thread, they have been tremendously helpful for my own camel hunt.

I finally got my mount a few days ago and in turn I would like to share what I have learnt whilst searching for these figurines. For those a little worried about taking him down, he is incredibly easy - he has k health and I barely noticed my health move as a level 85 balance druid. Fun, rewarding little encounter after all my searching for the secret camel level! Finding one can give you a very good indication of when the next will be, helping target effort.

However given Uldum is such a large area, unfortunately it's very easy to miss a spawn even if you constantly fly around. On some weeks these times have remained surprisingly regular to within 30mins , whilst others, due to the approximate respawn time, have gradually drifted as the week progresses.

On a completely unrelated note, assuming that the linking of reins is a reliable indicator of the first drop during a reset, then it seems the figurine spawns or is at least found far less frequently than Aeonaxx.

Aeonaxx's reins are typically linkable within a couple of days of the reset on my server, whereas it is not uncommon to see whole resets go by without the camel reins becoming linkable. Of course it's RNG and approximate, so it's always possible for two to spawn in a row, so don't get disheartened if you miss one! Anyhow, thought I would share my thoughts and hope I help someone else in their hunt. It's a great mount, fun little secret zone, and soon to be my favourite title too!

Good luck :. Comment by So I finally found my first Camel! I can get it, no pre-reqs required. I can now spend more time on this life sink. It would be helpful to try and get times people have gotten these, state your time zone and what time, we might be able to start plotting this. Comment by I do not believe anything anyone says in here anymore, and I never will again. I go to Uldum every single day since Cata went live I have all the triks and do-dads that are available to find them, I fly around the entire map every single day, hours at a time and have not ever found one single mysterious camel figurine yet.

Screw that ridiculous hunt, I just bought the dam things, it's so much easier, I could care less wtf color it is. This search in my opinion is bogus and built into WoW to get idiots like me, to go there and search endlessly just to waste our time and money playing WoW, so that we stay online longer. I felt like QQ-ing so deal with it. Comment by Johnthefisherman Hi, I've gotten two camels one for myself one for a friend out of 10 figurines.

After checking my data and comparing it to what some people have said, I'd have to agree the spawn times are approx hours from the time the last one was picked up. I have yet to see one sooner than that and I've picked them up past 12 hours. This is after finding 10 figurines in approximately 2 weeks. I got really lucky with the second 09 that spawned the dormus encounter. I think I got the first camel for myself on the fifth figurine and another for a friend on the 7th. Keep looking, they're out there.

You can see my pic on the ptr version of the site for the "Camel-Hoarder" title. Comment by Found the actualy working figurine at Schnottz's Landing in a carriage at 1. Fighting easy as pie, Dormus lvl 85 elite. Keeping the cache uncleared was a good idea thus I knew that the figurine found with the npc scan was the real deal.

Good luck everyone looking for it, wish I found it before I went exalted with the faction and buy the other 2 models just in spite:. Comment by got the mysterious camel figurine 15 times over the course of a month. Comment by Just got my camel finally! After 3 - 4 weeks of camping this guy I finally have it, after my third camel.
